Dr. Lintecum is a native of Kansas City, earning his undergraduate diploma from Westminster College in Fulton, MO.  He completed medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and continues to support KU Jayhawk academics and athletics.  He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at St. Luke’s Hospital, where he has stayed and continued his private practice.

After caring for pregnant women and delivering babies for over 30 years he has transitioned to providing office gynecology care.   He has a strong commitment to his patients and community. He is active with the hospital and has served in various leadership roles.  He has been the chairman of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and on the Executive Board at St. Luke’s on the Plaza. As part of his commitment to patients and furthering the specialty of obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Lintecum enjoys teaching and is active with ob/gyn residents. lintecum_action-cropped

Dr. Lintecum is married to Laura and has two children.  He is involved in the community, participating in multiple fundraising and charity events, and is active in the St. Luke’s hospital foundation.  In his time away from the office, Dr. Lintecum loves golf, traveling and has a passion for all things investment. He enjoys personal reading and researching topics he is intrigued by.
